Join the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce for Board Builders: A Nonprofit Leadership Workshop on Wednesday, August 13 from 9:00–10:30 AM at the SEV Chamber Auditorium in New Smyrna Beach. This high-impact professional development session is designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of nonprofit board members, executive directors, and team leaders serving the Southeast Volusia region—including New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, and Oak Hill.

Led by nationally recognized nonprofit strategist Vicki Pugh, the workshop will feature a True Colors® assessment, board governance best practices, and actionable tools to enhance your organization’s strategic direction, recruitment, and leadership effectiveness.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of:

• Board roles, responsibilities, and structure
• Personal leadership styles
• Intro into strategic governance and sustainable planning
• Recruitment and engagement of effective board members
• Local resources for nonprofit growth and compliance
